Ferry service to Sardinia and Corsica

The port of Livorno is one of the main commercial and tourist stairs in Tuscany. The city has developed around the ancient Medici port under the Old Fortress, and still today is closely linked to the sea, but with a whole new port.
From Livorno you can reach the Mediterranean islands closest to the Tuscan coast, Sardinia and Corsica, at any time of the year. At the port there are in fact some shipping companies that provide regular ferry services. In the facilities of the port there are ticket offices and desk information of the various companies equipped with multilingual staff.
Daily ferry service to Sardinia and Corsica are intensified during the summer season to allow a link as efficient as possible. The destinations to reach Sardinia are Olbia and Golfo Aranci, while for Corsica the only city is Bastia.
Ferry sailing is pleasant, thanks to the many services available on board, but it takes many hours: about 7 for Sardinia and about 5 for Corsica.
Ferry services to Sardinia and Corsica have many spaces within the Livorno harbor. There are a number of docks and piers where the ferryboats go offshore, embark and disembark their passengers.
